On the second stop on his Mad Man Tour, A$AP Ferg demonstrated his chops at The Fillmore Silver Spring Thursday. Most recently, Ferg released Still Striving, his fourth solo project, in summer 2017.

Still Striving is a mixtape where Ferg shows off his chops as an MC from Harlem. It’s your classic east coast rap with features from other rappers, including fellow A$AP  Mob member A$AP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, and Migos.

The show started off with “Trap and a Dream,” which set the tone for the night. Throughout his setlist, Ferg played songs like ” Nasty (Who Dat),” “East Coast,” and “Coach Cartier.” In the middle of the show, he played a clip from a new documentary short film called ” Forever Ferg,” where he searches for the definition of being a real artist in addition to reviewing his rise in the music industry and receiving advice from fellow A$AP Mob members on how to become a better artist.

Toward the end of the setlist, Ferg unleashed his major hits like “Work” and “Shabba” from the album Trap Lord. Ferg ended the show with “Plain Jane,” hyping the whole crowd into a frenzy of moshing with the packed crowd. Before stepping off the stage, he thanked everyone for their support and dedicated a special moment to A$AP Yams (a founding member of A$AP Mob) who passed away in 2015.

Ferg continues his tour into Charlotte, North Carolina, on March 6 and ending the tour in his hometown of New York City on April 14. Here are some pictures of A$AP Ferg performing at The Fillmore Silver Spring on March 1, 2018. All photos copyright and courtesy of Brenda Reyes.
