Dark cabaret crooner IAMX, the solo project of Chris Corner, visited Metro Gallery on June 9, and Katherine Gaines was there to take some pictures!

IAMX has been quite busy in the studio in recent years, this year releasing new album Fault Lines via UNFALL Productions.

At Metro Gallery, IAMX opened the show with “The X ID” from the new album and soon performed the title track. Chris also added the new record’s “Disciple” to the setlist.

Since Parklife DC last caught IAMX live, way back in 2018, he’s released a live, mostly instrumental album, Machinate, in 2021 and an acoustic album, Echo Echo, in 2020. While none of these efforts received attention during the show, IAMX dipped back to Alive in New Light (2018) for a song and way back to The Alternative (2006) for several numbers, including “This Will Make You Love Again” in the encore.

IAMX remains on a USA tour throughout the month of June, so catch him in performance near you.
