On Sunday, Sept. 13, five-time Grammy winner Victor Wooten and his brothers bring their full setup to The Hamilton Live for an absolute clinic in funk, jazz, and soul presented by All Good Presents.
If you’ve caught Victor live—whether heading up his own trio or holding down the bass end with Béla Fleck and the Flecktones—you already know the musicianship is staggering. But watching him share a stage with his brothers taps into a completely different gear. Joined by Regi on guitar, Roy “Futureman” Wooten handling percussion, and Joseph on keyboards, the band leans into a tight, almost telepathic dynamic honed over decades of playing together since childhood.
Funk and soul heads will remember the family originally built their reputation alongside their late brother, saxophonist Rudy Wooten, opening for icons like Curtis Mayfield and Ray Charles before everyone decided to branch off into their own projects.

Given everyone’s packed individual schedules, catching all four brothers sharing a bill on a national tour doesn’t happen nearly as often as it should. Between Regi’s wild fretwork, Joseph’s deep pocket on keys, Futureman’s rhythmic setups, and Victor locking down the groove, their shows are raw masterclasses in musicianship.
