Cold Cave, aka Los Angeles synthesist Wesley Eisold, released You & Me & Infinity, a new four-song EP, on June 1 via Heartworm Press. Cold Cave performs song from the new album, as well as other dark wave favorites, on the mainstage of Black Cat on Saturday, June 16.
With the new EP, Cold Cave continues to perfect its brand of dark synthpop, bridging the future and the past. Mixed by Chris Coady and mastered by Bob Weston, You & Me & Infinity features four romantic existential anthems for disenchanted daydreamers, including the previously released, glimmering pop tune “Glory” as well as the stormy title track “You & Me & Infinity.”

“Making a strong impression on the first track “You & Me & Infinity,” Eisold’s vocals have a dark, eerie tone that complement the ebullient ’90s beat. Dark, dreamy synths amplified by edgy guitar riffs sets the ambience for the rest of the EP,” said Jenna Mohammed in a review for Exclaim!
Cold Cave’s current tour, which stops in Montreal tonight, June 12, features support from Black Marble and Choir Boy. The tour spans a month and showcases Cold Cave performing as a full live band including Wes, Amy Lee, Nils Blue, and Ryan McMahon.
