Project Hera is an endeavor born from a deep passion of women in music. Headed by DC music scene veteran Cathy DiToro (The Legwarmers, Party Like It’s, and So Fetch), the non-profit group dedicates itself to building and strengthening the local music community, while providing a safe and encouraging outlet for women and young girls.
At Pearl Street Warehouse on Sunday, Dec. 9, Project Hera will present Women Who Rock: A Tribute to the ‘90s with 30 local female artists.
Among its many activities and programs, Project Hera hosts a yearly music festival to empower, promote, and celebrate the talented women in music in the DC metro area. This year’s festival, Women Who Rock: A Tribute to the ’90s, will feature more than 30 female artists from the DC area. Visit the Project Hera website for more information.
