Working Order Records, the record label of DC synthpop duo Technophobia, threw a benefit show for House of Ruth at Black Cat on Saturday, Aug. 19, and Paivi got some pix!

For the past 41 years, House of Ruth has helped women, children and families in the greatest need and with very limited resources build safe, stable and independent lives. The organization strives to provide each woman and family with the confidence and skills that eliminate domestic violence and homelessness from their lives and prepares them for long-term independence.

Technophobia meanwhile are no strangers to Black Cat, and Parklife DC has covered their performances there in the past. Technophobia’s next scheduled show is on Sunday, Oct. 29, at DC9, where they open for Boy Harsher, a dark electronic duo from Northampton, Massachusetts. Buy your tickets online!
