Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) announces “Live From Your Sofa!” — an online performance featuring never-before-seen footage of the whole of last year’s Hammersmith Apollo London show. The OMD concert film screens on YouTube on Saturday, May 9.
The footage will premiere at 3pm ET on YouTube on May 9. This will mean everyone watching will see it all at the same time. Fans across the world are able to join each other digitally and connect with the live concert.
In addition to “Live From Your Sofa,” OMD shares new merchandise and sells exclusive items an hour before the event.

Last year, OMD released their 40th anniversary box set, Souvenir. The special box set is comprised of five CDs and two DVDs in a 10″ box set. Find more information on the box set in OMD’s store.
New wave titans OMD are best known in the United States for “If You Leave,” the love theme to John Hughes’ Pretty in Pink, and Top 40 US hit “So in Love.” And OMD have been going strong since reuniting in 2007, releasing three albums of outstanding synth pop and celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary last year. OMD consists of Andy McCluskey (vocals, bass guitar) and Paul Humphreys (keyboards, vocals), along with Martin Cooper (synth and sax) and Stuart Kershaw (drums).
