Next month, Thundercat (born Stephen Bruner) will kick off a live US tour, and he stops in DC at U Street Music Hall on Sunday, March 5.
On tour, Thundercat undoubtedly will play songs from this three solo albums, including his latest The Beyond/Where the Giants Roam, published in 2015 via Brainfeeder. The bassist will be joined by his longtime bandmates Dennis Hamm (keyboards) and Justin Brown (drums).

Also in 2016, Thundercat won a Grammy Award for his contribution to “These Walls” from To Pimp A Butterfly by from Kendrick Lamar. So he’s pretty much on a winning streak. It’s a great time to catch him live!
