Disturbed are now on a 34-date The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour, which includes a date at Capital One Arena in DC on Monday, March 17. Distrubed are joined by openers Three Days Grace and Sevendust!

The night features two sets of music, opening with Disturbed playing the 5X platinum The Sickness in full, followed by a full set of greatest hits.

On a recent cold and windy evening at The Monument in Winchester, Virginia, fans buzzed with anticipation. The Band Feel, accompanied by The Retrograde, was set to ignite the stage, and the energy was quite noticeable. As doors opened, the crowd poured into the venue, eager for a night of electrifying rock and roll.

One of today’s biggest music promoters can’t be found in an office or an agency — it’s a free app on the Appstore. TikTok has been notorious for rolling out stars, viral songs, and getting artists streams. Molly Grace Zeytoonian, known as her stage name Molly Grace, is of of those freshly minted stars.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Chappell Roan and Reneé Rapp, Lizzo, Freddy Mercury, and more, Molly Grace blends pop and disco sounds in her unique, upbeat music. In her signature sequins, she rocked a sold-out show at The Atlantis in DC on March 1. Molly Grace has been putting out music as an independent artist since 2021.

Jason Isbell has consistently been one of the best songwriters in popular music for 20 years, going back to his tenure with the Drive-By Truckers.  On the second of three at the Warner Theatre, a room he praised highly — he recently appeared solo and acoustic, in a setting that highlighted his songcraft, warmth, intelligence, and humor.

Last week I took a short trip to Colombia but never left my little Pacific Northwest community. In fact, I’ve traveled to a number of locations around the globe as a result of Bellingham’s incredible musical diversity: a Gambian Kora virtuoso, an expert Zimbabwean marimba player, Italian manouche jazz, Australian power pop, and Canadian folk.

Bogota, Colombia-based BALTHVS, as part of the continuing BellinghamExit showcase, made its Bellingham (Washington) debut on a recent Thursday night to an enthusiastic, nearly sold-out show at the Wild Buffalo House of Music and further cemented this region’s reputation for pleasing, varied musical artistry.

I forget who I saw perform at The Birchmere at the first show I attended in the early 1990s, and it wouldn’t be for several more years before I went again. But once I did return, I was treated to musical riches beyond compare.
