Neon Indian took the stage recently at the 9:30 Club. Sporting a Toyota sweatshirt, Alan Palomo led his bandmates in a show that revealed what a Neon Indian concert is. Also, Brad Oberhofer warmed up crowd while also playing later with Neon Indian on synth/keys.

Neon Indian (aka Alan Palomo) released the long-awaited follow up to 2011’s Era Extraña and this year’s standalone single “Annie,” producing Vega Intl. Night School via Mom + Pop in October. He visits 9:30 Club for a performance on Saturday, Nov. 16.

At U Street Music Hall on Saturday night, a sold-out room cheered when the lights went down and four white-clad musicians stepped onto stage.
The leader of those musicians, Marius Lauber, better known as Roosevelt, took the center of the stage, where he sang and alternated between guitar and synthesizer for the night, treating the crowd to selections from his self-titled debut album, released last year by Greco-Roman.

Roosevelt, born Marius Lauber, burst out of Germany with his self-titled debut album last year via Greco-Roman. Roosevelt is on a tour of the United States, and he dances into U Street Music Hall this Saturday, June 3.
