Imogen (“Immi”) Heap stood before her crowd. Rounding the corner of a second night appearance at the Lincoln Theatre (added after night #1 sold out) recently, she turned to a laptop on the far-right of her setup. “No, I don’t want a software update!” We laughed. It got fixed.

GZA, aka The Genius, aka “the most cerebral MC in the Wu-Tang Clan” stopped at the Howard Theatre in DC recently to perform his highly acclaimed second solo studio album Liquid Swords, and I was there to take some photos.

After many years living in Austin, Greenbelt native Joe Pug has returned to “gorgeous Prince George’s.” Now married and a father, the veteran troubadour came back home to rejuvenate himself after experiencing burnout. Appearing solo at The Hamilton recently, he appeared refreshed and vigorous.
