Dutch DJ pioneer Ferry Corsten is releasing his fifth album Blueprint via Flashover Recordings on May 26, and on the way to its arrival, he spins at Soundcheck on Thursday, May 18!
Trance DJ Paul van Dyk recently released a new single “Touched by Heaven,” and he’s spinning it in clubs on a 12-date North American tour presented by Insomnia’s Dreamstate trance brand. PvD will appear locally at Echostage in DC on Saturday, April 29.
Who can sell out DC’s Echostage (capacity: 6,000) two nights in a row and get Washington to party as hard as Miami or Ibiza? One sure answer: Tiësto.
Few men command the respect of Tiësto from the DJ booth. Often voted “Best DJ of All Time,” the Dutchman has set a very high bar indeed over the past 20 years. He kept very busy last year, released a series of singles, and started a label dedicated to deep house. No stranger to DC, he returns to spin at Echostage on Friday, March 10, and Saturday, March 11.
Since breaking through with “Til the Sky Falls Down” in 2007, Dash Berlin has been a man on the move! He’s become a mainstay in the Armada Music roster, signed by Armin Van Buuren himself, and consequently went on to win a number of top DJ awards, including honors from DJ Mag.
Well, Dash Berlin (aka DJ Jeffrey Sutorius) has been busy making new music recently, and the Dutchman comes back to DC to spin some trance, progressive house, and more with a stop at Echostage on Friday, August 19. (That’s tomorrow!)
Listen to “Without the Sun,” a new single from Dash Berlin & Luca Perra on Soundcloud:
Get ready to dance to some uplifting dance music from a DJ master of the craft. Joining Dash Berlin is Pierce Fulton, an American prodigy in electro house and downtempo electronica.
Dutch collaborators Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst formed W&W in 2007, and since then the DJ duo have fused styles and mixed influences ranging from trance to electro.
The DJs currently rank #14 in the DJ Mag Top 100, and they are fresh off a dominating performance at the Miami Music Week/Winter Music Conference. (Their Ultra Music Festival set in Miami has more than 2 million YouTube views!) And they are bringing their show to Echostage tomorrow, Saturday, July 30.
And W&W are certainly busy making new music as well this year. They began 2016 with “Arcade,” a new collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and a vocal solo single “How Many.” Most recently, they have released “Live the Night” with Hardwell and Lil Jon on their own Mainstage Music imprint.
Listen to “Live the Night” by W&W and Hardwell and Lil Jon on Soundcloud:
Speaking of Mainstream Music, they continue to curate productions on their label for fellow artists including Armin van Buuren, Headhunterz, Dash Berlin, 3LAU, Andrew Rayel, Tritonal, Sick Individuals and many more!
Oh and if that weren’t enough, Russian house musician Arty opens for W&W, still fresh off his debut album Glorious in 2015. Prepare to dance ‘til you drop.
Tickets are available online and at the door.
