Hey guys, Welcome back to another adventure through my shoes as we cruised to a familiar venue, for some deep house healing. The line was around the corner and calm as everyone was in high spirits in anticipation for what we were about to witness! With a plethora of students back from school, it was a frat party for all ages. Needless to say, the venue was packed and no tickets would be available at the door, as we would have yet another SOLD OUT crowd at Soundcheck for Nora En Pure!
What’s up everyone! Welcome back for another musical journey through my eyes. Recently, I had the pleasure of reviewing Tritonal on their tour at Soundcheck for the 10th year of their Enhanced Music Label. Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed chose intimate venues to do their 10-year tour, bringing it back to the Austin based duo’s roots.
Not too long ago, I was pleased to have been graced with some of the boldest sounds of house. Dirtybird, the illustrious house music label, has been around for almost 20 years, holstering 60 artists. Last month, they blessed us with a tag team set from five of their stars, including Ardalan, Walker & Royce, Justin Martin, Shiba San, and their founder Claude VonStroke. The crowd was anxious to see this jam packed session of music at Echostage.
Suh Dudes! We welcomed the California-based disc jockey Tanner Petulla, better known as Getter, in the house to deliver a mesmerizing performance at Echostage on Halloween. The crowd was ready for a festive night as everyone was dressed in their spookiest and scantiest costumes as Getter was ready to take stage. Echostage was filled with anticipation for the performance and ready for takeoff.
Once, Shaun Frank was a part of a band named Crowned King and only due to a lot of minor hiccups, they disbanded and he followed a new path as an electronic music DJ.
And The former Canadian frontman of a rock band recently showcased his ability to take a crowd by storm when he took center stage in the Nation’s Capital at Echostage on Friday, Oct. 27.
Here we go as we shuffle along with the Grammy nominated house DJ Chris Lake! This time we ventured out to one of our favorite frequents in U-Street Music Hall on Friday, Oct. 20! As one of the minds behind several of dance music’s biggest productions, it was no surprise that the crowd was sold out in anticipation of the Englishman.
TRAP ARMS UP! YehMe2 played a high-intensity trap tracks that mesmerized his audience, which proceeded to stop, mosh, and scream through his performance at U Street Music Hall last week. His sound was filled with several new remixes of current and old popular tracks that lifted the feet of everyone in the building!
