Fabulous surf rockers High Waisted are visiting from New York to perform at DC9 on Sunday, April 2, and we strongly recommend you make plans to see them! The snappy quartet impressed us so much in their DC debut performance a little over a year ago that we named them one of our top 10 concerts of 2016.

Worship leader Kari Jobe will make a stop at Mclean Bible Church in Virginia this Friday, March 31. Kari recently released her fourth full-length album, titled The Garden, on Capitol CMG — and she is currently on the accompanying The Garden Tour, playing her new songs as well as others. Friday’s show is sold out.

At the Drive-In, the high-energy abstract punk band from Texas, arrived to play a show at 9:30 Club back in June, but Cedric Bixler fell ill and the band canceled the show. Last week, they finally made it back to DC on their reunion tour, and they came not only with a great show but also a make-up prize.

Dan Andriano is perhaps best known as the bassist for punk outfit Alkaline Trio, but he’s been impressing most in his solo stuff recently as he records and tours under the name Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room. Dan is on a long tour right now, and he will visit DC to play at Songbyrd Music House on Saturday, April 15.
