In support of Lake Street Dive’s acclaimed album Obviously, the band is set to perform at Wolf Trap on Thursday, Sept. 9!

Obviously, the new album from beloved band Lake Street Dive, is set for release on March 12 via Nonesuch Records. In celebration of the forthcoming record, the group premieres its new single “Nobody’s Stopping You Now,” a letter of encouragement from lead vocalist Rachael Price to her teenaged self, co-written with bassist Bridget Kearney.

Lake Street Dive kicked off 2019 on the right foot recently with a sold-out show at Baltimore’s Rams Head Live. The show continued the band’s successful Free Yourself Up Tour, begun last summer in support of its most recent album of the same name, released in May 2018 via Nonesuch Records.

Recently celebrating its one-year anniversary, The Anthem, I.M.P.’s flagship 6,000-person capacity music venue at DC’s Wharf, invariably plays host to musical artists who are moved to say something along the lines of, “Holy shit, this place is huge,” when greeting the audience as they take the stage. Performing to a sold-out audience on Friday, Lake Street Dive became one of those bands.

Folky soul band Lake Street Dive released a new album Free Yourself Up, their sixth studio record, in May via Nonesuch Records. The band performs at The Anthem on Friday, Nov. 9.
