Summer Spirit Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion returned for its 14th year recently. This year’s line-up was a blend of soul, R&B, jazz, hip hop, and GO-GO, featuring superstars Anthony Hamilton, Jhené Aiko, Raphael Saadiq, DVSN, PJ Morton, and Kyle Dion. Hailing from Brooklyn, Yeasayer consists of Chris Keating, Ira Wolf Tuton, and Anand Wilder. The band took the stage at 9:30 Club recently under a simple, long, sequin fabric running from the ceiling to the floor, almost acting like a makeshift disco ball. Everyone set their instruments, and they were ready for the night to begin.

It’s been a bit since Nick Murphy‘s hit 2014 album Built on Glass. Recently, the Australian singer enter the 9:30 Club, ready to perform songs from his new album, Run Fast Sleep Naked, released in April.
