Dan Andriano is perhaps best known as the bassist for punk outfit Alkaline Trio, but he’s been impressing most in his solo stuff recently as he records and tours under the name Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room. Dan is on a long tour right now, and he will visit DC to play at Songbyrd Music House on Saturday, April 15.

TOTO, the legendary Los Angeles quartet famous for “Africa,” “Rosanna,” “Hold the Line,” and innumerable other catchy tunes, will embark on a summer tour that includes a stop at nearby Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis, Maryland.

Swedish heavy metal rockers Katatonia hit 9:30 Club last Thursday to launch a North American tour on the heels of releasing their 10th studio album, The Fall of Hearts, via Peaceville.

Well, we first should mention that she’s begun her local residency in a production called “Classic Cher” at MGM National Harbor, where she will play Thursday, March 23, Saturday, March 25, and Sunday, March 26, before returning for six more dates at the end of summer.

Heavy metal quartet Baroness continue to tour on the strength of their fourth studio album, Purple, released in 2015 via Abraxan Hymns. The band is preparing to tour Europe, but they will perform a select few US dates before they go, including a stop at 9:30 Club on Wednesday, April 12.
