Fort Lauderdale heavy metal band Nonpoint published their ninth studio album, The Poison Red, last summer via Spinefarm Records. The album was the first featuring new lead guitarist BC Kochmit from the prolific band. These guys like to stay busy, and they are hitting The Fillmore Silver Spring on Friday, Feb. 10, to open for Alter Bridge on The Last Hero Tour.

Post-hardcore band Falling in Reverse recently announced their next full-length album, Coming Home, to be released April 7 via Epitaph Records. Soon after the announcement, the band stopped by The Fillmore Silver Spring on Sunday to perform with Motionless in White.

Motionless in White are set to release their fourth full-length album, Graveyard Shift, via Roadrunner Records on May 5. In anticipation of the new release, the gothic metalcore band from Scanton, Pennsylvania, launched a tour that stopped at The Fillmore Silver Spring on Sunday.

It was warm winter Wednesday with a West Coast native bringing the heat! The line was long but in good spirits as the bass start welcomed the crowds inside for a DJ performance by G Jones.
The young talent from California — Greg Jones, better known as G Jones — had a bad start. He faced a few difficulties initially during transition and the audience was briefly left in silence. G Jones got his set started shortly afterward and proceeded to bring the house down!

Swedish singer LÉON (born Lotta Lindgren) has been releasing a series of singles that puts forward her full, soulful voice as she heads toward her first full-length release on Columbia Records. You can hear what the buzz is all about yourself when she comes to the Rock and Roll Hotel on Friday, Feb. 3.

Husband and wife duo Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley started their band Tennis after a sailing expedition down the Eastern Atlantic Seaboard. Fittingly, they have recorded part of their latest album at sea during a sailing trip through the Sea of Cortez.
Drop anchor at 9:30 Club on March 19 and catch Tennis on their tour celebrating their fourth album, Yours Conditionally, out March 10 on Mutually Detrimental via Thirty Tigers.

Rumor has it that Jazmine Sullivan may release a new self-titled album, her fourth, in 2017.
But meanwhile, Jazmine is still riding high on her third album, Reality Show, which dropped a little over two years ago via RCA Records. The Philadelphia contralto has a few concert dates on the calendar, including a stop at The Fillmore Silver Spring on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
