Alt-country rock legend Alejandro Escovedo, named Performer of the Decade at the end of the 1990s by roots music bible No Depression, made his second appearance at City Winery DC on Tuesday, sharing a personal tale of perseverance and the search for a better life.

Hardcore legends Integrity, originally based in Cleveland, established a loyal following by releasing influential metalcore albums and consistently putting on memorable shows since the 1980s. Over the weekend, Integrity stopped by Metro Gallery for two sold-out headlining shows. The turnout on night one of the all-ages shows proved that Integrity continues to draw new fans.
