An Intimate Evening with Langhorne Slim on “The Lost at Last Tour”
Langhorne Slim gave a very intimate solo performance at The Birchmere in Alexandria on Wednesday. Rather than relying on a prepared set list for the performance, Langhorne (whose real name is Sean Scolnick) selected songs on fly and shared nostalgic stories with the audience about his time growing up Southeastern Pennsylvania, his family, recruiting bandmates, and all the influences along the way that informed his music.

It seems Langhorne Slim is always on tour, but maybe that’s because he always has something to say! The singer-songwriter recently released Lost at Last Vol. 1, his sixth and latest album, via Dualtone Records. Now, he’s performing at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia, on Wednesday, March 28.

Fourteen years after her last full-length solo album, Michelle Branch returned with Hopeless Romantic, her third studio album, in April via Verve Records. She takes to the road with a stop at 9:30 Club on Friday, Aug. 4, and you can win tickets to see her with Parklife DC!

Kari Jobe took to the stage at McLean Bible Church on Friday to excited, pleasant applause, along with her band, including her husband of two years, Cody Carnes. When she would speak, the crowd was in absolute silence, with the exception of some softly spoken agreements and other words of praise.
This was not a typical concert.
