Since the first time I caught The Aces at All Things Go last year, I’ve become a huge fan. Katie Henderson, McKenna Petty, and Alisa and Cristal Ramirez took to Union Stage to an uproar of their fans cheering and excited for their sold-out show recently.

Ireland’s very own Talos, born Eoin French, will perform at Lincoln Theatre as opener for Aurora on Sunday, March 10. Following a run with Peter, Bjorn, and John late last year, Talos released his sophomore album, Far Out Dust, via BMG on Feb. 8.

Denver-based funk collective The Motet released Death or Devotion, the band’s ninth studio album, via their own label in January. The Motet are on tour with a stop at 9:30 Club on Saturday, March 9.

To our surprise and delight, SiriusXM hosted Weezer at the Black Cat on Wednesday, and a full house rocked out to a band with four platinum albums under its belt in the intimate club.

As a rule, I never miss an opportunity to catch a performance by prolific garage rocker and rock ‘n’ roll slave Ty Segall. This time around, he paid a visit to Ottobar in Baltimore with fellow musical genius and American musician/singer-songwriter Tim Presley aka White Fence.
